I headed out to Laumeir Sculpture Park early the other morning for some shooting. I was turned away because they were cleaning up after an art fair they had over the weekend. Instead I headed down the highway to Lone Elk Park. This park has a sizable herd of both Bison and Elk so it makes for some awesome nature shots. I was in landscape mode for this shoot so I shot around the lake a bit. This was definitely the best result. I was really drawn to the fog still burning off the top of the lake and the sun rays certainly didn't hurt. Despite the breeze, I was able to squeeze off three HDR brackets each for the two panes of the panoramic. Please let me know what you all think as any suggestions are welcomed and appreciated. Enjoy!

POTD - Store Fronts
A cloudy shot from Main Street USA in Magic Kingdom. I can always spend a lot of time here and I can only imagine that will be the case on my next trip as well. I've been wanting to shoot Main Street with the fall decorations for a very long time. I really can't wait to get back down and shoot some photos. POTD - Floating Through Lines
Another shot I saved from our last trip. I managed to get the wide angle distortion under control and got everything straight, but then noticed the boat is rocking a little bit. I kind of like it that way, it shows that this is an actual boat, and I can't deny all the lines in this. I have a real appreciation of greenhouses in general and especially this one since we eat a lot of the food they grow in here in the restaurants in World Showcase. POTD - Riverside Sweets
This is another shot from our night shoot on Old Town Main Street in St. Charles, MO. A lot of these buildings have been fixed up, like riverside sweets, to a fresh new look. Still maintaining that great Main Street feel. I will definitely be heading back down here for more night shooting. POTD - Ruins On The Trek
This is nearing the end of Maharajah Jungle Trek in Animal Kingdom. I love the "old" stone work that abounds in this and in the Asia section as a whole. I've been obviously doing a lot of planning here lately, and photo planning as well. I can't wait to get back down and apply my new knowledge in shooting to my enjoyment of shooting the parks. POTD - Light At The End Of The Tunnel
This is another shot from our night outing to Old Town Main Street in St. Charles, MO. A lot of the buildings on Main Street have been here for quite a while. This is down one of the alleys, and one thing besides the light that drew me to this is that the top of the frame isn't straight. Time and having the river about two blocks behind it has really effects some of these areas, which in my opinion really makes them unique.
