Another view, this time in HDR with my Sigma Ultra Wide Angle lens. I was just enchanted with the Animal Kingdom Lodge. So many great details to be seen and discovered all over this beautiful resort. Please let me know what you all think and as always, Enjoy!

I really love all of the gardens around the U.K. pavilion in World Showcase. This was just as the morning cloud were clearing up. Please let me know what you think and as always, Enjoy!

An early morning shot of Wilderness Lodge through the trees on our way to the boat dock and Magic Kingdom. I was really happy with how it was framed and the beautiful golden light bathing the trees. Please let me know what you think and as always, Enjoy!

Another shot from the WDW Photography World Showcase Photowalk. I wandered back to a shot of the waterfall in Norway and knew I wanted to get an HDR of it so I steadied my camera on the railing and here are the results. Please let me know what you think and as always, Enjoy!

A shot from the Africa bridge down the river to Expedition Everest. The clouds were wonderful as usual, and rolling over the mountain making some nice shadows and colors. I steadied my camera on the edge of the bridge for this bracket. Please let me know what you think and as always, Enjoy!

This is a shot that I went back and forth on posting. After our ADR at 50's Prime Time Cafe, we walked around DHS for a little while, shooting some pictures. I wasn't expecting to do any night shooting after our late dinner, so I didn't have my tripod with me. To steady my camera to get this 10 second exposure, I ended up zipping the left side of camera into the top of my camera backpack. LoL. Please let me know what you all think and as always, Enjoy!

Today for my birthday, after getting off work early, I met my girlfriend Jenea at our house and then went on a birthday shopping trip to the camera shot. The Nikon SB-700 Flash is what I came home with. Between wanting better flash for overall portraits, I figured it would be incredibly worth it to have for future wedding shoots as well as AF Assist function for low light - no flash situations. I've played around with it a little bit tonight, that's why these shots are going up a little later than usual, but after some studying and practice this will be a great addition to my bag. :) I seriously have the best girlfriend in the world!
The first time into the Magic Kingdom during a trip is always a great feeling. This was our first trip to where Magic Kingdom wasn't our first park that we visited, we decided Epcot was a better idea. So the next morning when we entered the Magic Kingdom, I was ready for some fun. Coming down Main Street into the hub, shooting pictures all the way, I saw the Dapper Dans talking to some guests and getting pictures. So I politely waited for the guests to be done and then said, "Hey Fellows, can I get a smile?" One got the attention of the other three and I got this great pose. Please let me know what you think and as always, Enjoy!

Although we didn't eat at The Wave on our last trip, it was on the list of places to shoot while we were on our monorail resort tour. I was even fortunate to run into a couple of nice Cast Members from The Wave that waited patiently behind me while I shot this and then wanted to see what I had captured. Just judging by this beautiful entrance and the wonderful reviews I've heard about this place, I think we will have to give it a try at some point. :) Please let me know what you all think and as always, Enjoy!

Everything about Port Orleans French Quarter is nothing short of inviting. There was never a moment while staying at this resort where I didn't feel at home. This is a shot of our building, and it was almost as Disney put in this entry way to frame a shot for us photographers. Please let me know what you all think and as always, Enjoy!

I've always loved this area of the Magic Kingdom as Alice in Wonderland has always been a favorite Disney movie of mine. I have always loved the Alice stories, and mix that with Disney animation and Mary Blair styling, you just can't go wrong. I couldn't pass up a shot of this beautiful topiary in front of the Mad Tea Cups. Please let me know what you all think and as always, Enjoy!

One of my favorite little details found in the Wilderness Lodge lobby is this little raccoon starring down observing all the activity on the floor below. :) I made it a point while I was on the upper floors shooting the lobby to get a shot of this guy. Please let me know what you all think and as always, Enjoy!

The entrance sign to the Tree of Life Garden in the Animal Kingdom. Ever since my first visit to Animal Kingdom, I've loved this sign, so it was of course on the top of my shot list for AK. It was really bright out as it often is in Animal Kingdom, so processing this was a bit tough so please let me know what you all think. Enjoy!

A shot of the Imagination pavilion and jumping fountains towards the end of blue hour. I spent a good deal of time processing this one. This is a 3 shot HDR bracketed -2 0 +2, and I layer masked the original sky back into the shot. This is the first time I've tried this type of night time HDR processing, so please let me know what you all think of it. This night time processing has been evading me and I've been working on it. :) Enjoy!

On a quick photowalk up and down Hollywood Blvd., I caught this one of the Hollywood Scoops Ice Cream stand near Rockin Roller Coaster. Just another example of my love for the signs in and around the Disney parks. Please let me know what you think and as always, Enjoy!

I've said this time and time again, the worn look of Animal Kingdom is just spectacular. Everything in the Africa and Asia sections of the park look like they've been there for decades. Here is another example of that, the entrance to Tusker House. I've yet to eat here, but it's definitely on my list. Please let me know what you all think and as always, Enjoy!

For this Showtime Saturday shot, I know it's going up early but I have to work tomorrow, I wanted to highlight something I think a lot of people pass by. Flights of Wonder in the Animal Kingdom is an extremely interesting show in a beautiful setting. One thing I like most about this show is that it goes back to that original concept in Disney Imagineering, edutainment. A show where you are both entertained and informed about different species of birds. One thing evident in this show is that the people involved in this show really do love what they do. One of the highlights to the show is when they bring our Hope, a beautiful Bald Eagle. I really love the way this shot turned out because Hope's handler is looking up at her with such respect that you can tell that she and Hope are both quite happy where they are. I hope you all have seen this show and if not, please give it a chance, at least once. :) Enjoy!

Entering the China pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase, we pass under the Paifang Gate, which I can never help but look up at as I pass underneath. The color found in this structure as well as the rest of the pavilion, is just my speed. LoL. I thought it would be only fitting for me to capture a shot of a view I always try to get as I pass under the gate. Please let me know what you all think and as always, Enjoy!

I went back and forth with whether or not to post this one. As you all know, I love my skies, and this one was behind a giant white cloud. I wanted to post it though because I liked the way the foreground turned out so please, pay no attention to that sky behind the cloud. lol. Please let me know what you all think and as always, Enjoy!

A little ultra wide angle lens distortion for the Italian pavilion during the WDW Photography meet. Some of my favorite shots from this meet were from both Japan and Italy. Please let me know what you think and as always, Enjoy!

The Haunted Mansion has to be my favorite all time Disney attraction. A complete classic in every sense of Disney story telling and show design. This is a shot after we got off of our first ride of the trip. The first of many in our trip as always. :) Please let me know what you think and as always, Enjoy!

Another shot from our Seven Seas Lagoon Resort tour. As far as I can remember, this was our first time visiting the Grand Floridian Resort. Even though I'm still not sure if the feel of the resort is right for me, seems a bit too "posh", I'd like to stay here just to have views like this one everyday. The grounds of this resort are absolutely stunning and incredibly peaceful. This is a 3 shot HDR bracketed +2 0 -2 merged in Photomatix and then touched up in both Lightroom and Photoshop CS3. Please let me know what you think and as always, Enjoy!
While reviewing my shots from this morning spent at the Wilderness Lodge, I was really happy with the way this one came out. I was happy that there were people in it as I was trying to show off how massive this lobby actually is. Now I don't think that it can be shown in a picture as well as it can if someone were to walk in the front doors of this place, but never-the-less I think it's a decent representation. Everyone who has shot WL knows how difficult the lighting is in there, so please let me know what you think of the processing and as always, Enjoy!

A shot of Bay Lake Tower's crescent shape from the Contemporary Resort boat dock. I had great clouds that day so it gave me a good excuse to shoot some brackets for HDR. Please let me know what you all think and as always, Enjoy!
P.S. - I will be leaving Friday evening for our favorite Bass River Resort for an evening of camping, followed by a 13 mile kayak float down the river. It's going to be a great time as I love spending time on the water, it will be quite relaxing. So I won't be around a whole lot on Saturday, we will be getting home a bit later on Saturday so if I have to time to catch up on everyone's streams I will. :)

As most of you who follow my photostream know, I'm a sucker for a good sunflare. So when I found myself in front of Pirates of the Caribbean on our first morning in the Magic Kingdom, I couldn't resist starring into the sun to grab this shot. As the lighting in pretty intense, processing was a bit tough so I would love to hear what you all think of it. Enjoy!

A shot from Italy looking out over the water during the Flower and Garden Festival. The Florida sky during the WDW Photography meet as well as during my trip in March was absolutely wonderful. Please let me know what you all think and as always, Enjoy!

Haven't posted a good Spaceship Earth shot in a while. Like many, my favorite park in WDW is Epcot Center. This was one of my first shots of our trip when we made our way into Epcot for our first dinner ADR at San Angel Inn. Please let me know what you think and as always, Enjoy!

Going up a little early I know, but since I have to work tomorrow I won't have time to post it tomorrow morning. I took this shot the day of the WDW Photography meet in March, and I'm glad I saved it until the 4th as I think it's a perfect tribute for the Holiday. Please let me know what you all think and again, I hope that you are all having a great a safe 4th of July and as always, Enjoy!

Another one of those great gators from poolside at the Port Orleans French Quarter Resort. I really had a lot of fun shooting these little guys and wish even still that I would have spent a bit more time and a couple more shots with them. I got at least one good shot of each one. I thought this one was perfect for this weekend because I don't know about the rest of the country but here in St. Louis, it is crazy hot! So I figured an offering of an umbrella was in order. :) Hope everyone is having a fun weekend and as always, Enjoy!

Here's a shot of Disney's next deluxe resort! lol. I've gone on and on about the details in Animal Kingdom and especially in Asia. This is one such detail for the Yeti Palace Hotel. Everything about this in it's details suggests that the structure itself has been here forever. Disney's ability to give a natural "age" to their details never ceases to amaze me. Please let me know what you all think and as always, Enjoy!
